It is important that you understand that our weights and pricing of sides of beef are calculated using the dressed weight of the animal. When buying sides whether in be 1/4, 1/2 or a whole, what you receive will be less than the dressed weight. The dressed weight is used as it is the most fair and most accurate method of weighing an animal in this situation. Once you place an order with us our cattle are transported to a registered abattoir, from there they are processed by an accredited butcher and cryovac packed for your convenience. Your order is then delivered to you! Quality control is very important to us. This ensures that you are receiving the best product possible!
When ordering a whole animal all you need to wait for is the butchering and processing time (between 1 and 2 weeks)
If you are ordering a half or a quarter of an animal it would mean that we would need to wait for the rest of the animal to be sold before we could start the process! We will do our best to get your orders fulfilled within a timely manner and we will communicate with you along the way!
